Contract Director - North America

The Contract Director is a strategically vital position, reporting to the Sr. Director Corporate Accounts, calling on IDN's (Integrated Delivery Networks), GPO's (Group Purchasing Organizations), RPC's (Regional Purchasing Coalitions) and other identified target accounts in the U.S Marketplace. The CAD will be tasked with growing the revenue base in North America through strategic alliances and contractual relationships with healthcare systems. This individual will develop, initiate, and execute business plans solely based on specific targets as defined by the VP of Sales North America and Sr. Director of Corporate Accounts. This position may be based from candidate's home location.

Responsibilities:



  • Evaluate product complaints to determine reportability based on FDA and event country Identify and target specific IDN's for the sole purpose of obtaining specific sales goals as defined by senior sales management
  • Act as conduit for all IDN RFPs and as liaison for contract negotiation and implementation
  • Participate in IDN vendor fairs, conferences and act as strategic business partner for Advanced Bionics with IDN corporate customers.
  • Serves as key liaison for regional GPO's in the implementation of National and Regional GPO agreements.
  • Act as a field account management resource for all National, Regional, and IDN contracts.
  • Collaborate with Area Sales management to assist with developing sales strategies to increase Advanced Bionics market penetration.



Basic Qualifications



  • Exceptional relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in sales within the medical device industry.
  • Superior financial, analytical and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Health Care marketplace specifically the GPO and IDN landscape in the US.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Expert in analyzing and interpreting Health Economic data to drive conversions and market share penetration in strategic accounts.
  • Highly organized and able to manage a large pipeline of perspective clients
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing and evolving role.
  • Strong business acumen in data analytics, customer relationship management software and Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • MBA or additional advanced studies in business areas



Work Experience



  • Five or more years of proven success in calling on the IDN and GPO market within a similar industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, Contract Management, Business Development or similar roles in a corporate environment supporting a global medical device organization.

This role's pay range is between $147,200/yr - $220,800/yr (based on location). This role is also bonus eligible.
