Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology Services Group. This role is in Pittsburgh/PA and Lake Mary/ FL. (3 days in office required).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design, implement and support efficient enterprise monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environment.
• Identify improvements that can be made in the current infrastructure tools, alerts and processes
• Automate monitoring configurations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Ansible)
• Work collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver business goals
• Staying up to date with emerging monitoring technologies and best practices to enhance enterprise observability

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, SolarWinds Orion, NetScout Forward Networks or similar
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for accomplishing automation and integration tasks
• Strong understanding of network, server, cloud and application monitoring principles
• Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor
• Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and micro services monitoring
• Experience with AI/ML based observability solutions for predictive monitoring
• Strong understanding of ITIL best practices
