Summary:

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for positioning and promoting both Accelerate Specialty Network and Health Systems Specialty Network. They will develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with business partners, including strategic planning, development, implementation, communication, membership engagement, and analyses of marketing product launches that support the annual goals and long-term strategies of Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions. This includes leveraging voice-of-the-customer research, market trends, and other information to develop strategic messaging platforms and launch materials in alignment with new and existing services/products that drive the growth of the business. As a member of the Health Systems & Government Services Marketing team, the Senior Manager operates in a highly collaborative environment, representing the marketing and HGS teams, and engaging cross-functional teams and resources to position and market both networks to health system customers, manufacturers, and payers. The role ensures all marketing programs and communications are strategically aligned to support the positioning, messaging, and brand identity of both the business unit and Cencora. Additionally, the Senior Manager is responsible for managing marketing around the Health Systems Specialty Network's focus group and membership communications. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing works through the direct supervision of the Director, Health Systems & Government Services Marketing and in collaboration with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions management team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors

  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform product positioning and strategy

  • Define and develop the marketing launch plan for Accelerate Specialty Network and Health Systems Specialty Network, including personas, value proposition, positioning, needs-based segmentation, sales enablement assets (e.g., pitch deck, case studies), competitive analysis, and marketing mix

  • Build go-to-market plans and execute for both networks

  • Align key stakeholders around the marketing objectives and plan, and lead execution of the plan

  • Partner closely with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions teams to ensure marketing programs' alignment to pipeline objectives

  • Collaborate with internal business and marketing leadership to identify strategic opportunities that help improve the company's market position

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns promoting both networks

  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data and insights

  • Write and develop high-quality content such as case studies, white papers, and thought leadership articles

  • Identify and pursue speaking and thought leadership opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and influence in the industry

  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to develop channel strategies to effectively promote content and thought leadership initiatives

  • Prepare and deliver value proposition training and marketing presentations that support capabilities deck development and work with business teams to train sales teams on network features, benefits, and competitive positioning to enhance their selling capabilities.

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for product improvement

  • Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and focus groups to inform network development

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and performance data to inform network enhancements and future iterations

  • Regularly measure and draw insights from programs and tactics; produce standard reports which track progress toward goals and update strategic plans based on the outcomes

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance, customer satisfaction, and market share

  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate product performance and strategic recommendations

  • Manage membership communications

  • Manage marketing around focus group

  • Manage the budget for product marketing initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of marketing projects to drive revenue and profit growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have experience in product, service, or solution marketing-developing value proposition and product positioning, developing strategic and executing tactical plans, launching new products and services within a competitive market, and creating case study and other content and assets which demonstrate the differentiated value that the product or services provides

  • The position requires broad training in fields such as marketing, communications, product management, business development, account management, project management, business management, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education; normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible marketing experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of product marketing best practices related to the application of brand and product positioning, strategic messaging, and an eye for digital design to develop sales materials and written content to effectively launch and support products

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly creative and innovative with experience writing for different business-to-business target audiences that engage, inform, and motivate

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Superior PowerPoint skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to multi-task, manage and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously and on-time

  • Must be customer service oriented

  • Ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively

  • Ability to learn quickly and apply learning for related activities

  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills

  • Recent work experience in the pharmaceutical, payer, consulting services, or other area of healthcare the industry is a plus

  • Develops strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and supports internal communication and training initiatives designed to raise awareness for marketing activities and the utilization of sales support assets to facilitate new business development

  • Presents to internal stakeholders on marketing initiatives - both internal and external and attends industry specific conferences as needed to inform and support marketing strategies

  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment

  • Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, deal structure and assessing financial implication

  • Develops PowerPoint presentations related to key initiatives for internal and external business meetings and conferences

  • Performs related duties as assigned

  • 10-15% travel

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
