DESCRIPTION

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this pivotal role will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the leadership team, with a primary focus on the Office of the President. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations of the college's leadership.

What you will get to do:





  • Serve as the manager of the President's schedule. Anticipate and problem solve operational and administrative needs of the President. Manage the President's day-to-day activities with both internal and external constituents and use professional judgement to prioritize or delegate meeting requests and other time requests. Be proactive in managing calendars as priorities shift.





  • Be a confidential assistant to the President and when working with faculty, staff, high-profile, and sensitive information.





  • Develop and maintain relationships and confidentiality with members of the Leadership Team. Give guidance in the handling of sensitive situations related to administrative and operational activities.





  • Provide support for meetings, including agendas, minutes, materials, logistics, and prompt follow-up. Including adding information into Raisers Edge after the President meet with donors and Trustees.





  • Become an expert in the practices in the EOS management system as it is the management tool Dunwoody uses.





  • Manage the coordination and implementation of plans for meetings or events sponsored by the President's Office. Plan for the successful execution of the meetings/events including schedule rooms/venues, marketing and tech support, hospitality including food and beverage service, and related services.





  • Prepare presentation materials, reports, manuals, financial data, correspondence and agendas using the Microsoft suite of programs.





  • Assist with effective, professional communications and working relationship on behalf of the President with members of the Board of Trustees and their administrative assistants.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A combination of applicable work experience and education.
  • Highly proficient using Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables to organize and analyze data sets and SQL statements and
  • Queries to connect to external data sources
  • Highly proficient in database maintenance, enterprise reporting, and analytics
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
