Job Scope Responsible for supplying and maintaining internal inventory items in support of overall departmental and organizational objectives. Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain inventory materials in compliance with established company and/or regulatory requirements.
- Accurately pick orders from the Transfer Order to ensure correct kit part, lot and quantity are pulled for each order.
- Handle and inventory appropriately hazardous/dangerous materials. (Dangerous Goods Certified).
- Maintain and rotate necessary stock inventories as defined by organizational replenishment practices (FIFO) and required storage/separation conditions.
- Put away product by receipt traveler in the appropriate storage location and post the transfer in SAP.
- Segregate and hold product in accordance with Trade Compliance Country of Origin requirements.
- Verify receipt of all products from production assembly via work order and ensure accurate part, lot and quantity. Once verified, place according to storage conditions assigned by SAP.
- Process returns of inventoried product according to defined processes.
- Report details and damages to supervisor.
- Coordinate with operations (production, planners, purchasing, and lab personnel) for the procurement and distribution of inventory materials to respective work areas.
- Scrap and obsolete inventoried products in accordance with established guidelines.
- Participate in quarterly inventory/cycle counts, report discrepancies and adjust within SAP system.
- Support and maintain the integrity of the MRP system by processing system information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enter and confirm transfer orders in the system.
- Keep and maintain accurate records of all stocks and materials in the organization.
- Input inventory data into computer systems (SAP/MRP) to maintain accurate records and system archives.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of products within the warehouse.
- Perform advanced data entry functions.
- Compile inventory reports and lists for review and overall recordkeeping as required.
- Maintain and establish inventory locations within SAP.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the organization, and general maintenance of the work area to assure a safe and efficient environment.
- Organize and clean coolers, freezers, and/or warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inventory work areas.
- Requisition supplies as needed to perform job functions on a timely basis.
- Perform work in a safe manner consistent with DiaSorin's health, safety, and environmental policies and assume responsibility for personal safety and that of co-workers to result in a safe work environment for all employees and the protection of the environment and the community at large.
- Follow DiaSorin's established procedures for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous, radioactive, and infectious material.
- Participate in DiaSorin's safety training programs and demonstrate competency in the use of Material Safety Data Sheets, chemical labeling, corporate emergency response procedures, and DiaSorin's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Be aware of and understand the hazards specific to work area and follow appropriate safety precautions necessary to control them.
- Participate in training processes that are designed to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of delivering results consistent with corporate goals and objectives.
- Participate in the development and delivery of internal training programs.
- Formally and informally lead training of others in areas of competencies where appropriate.
- Participate in formal and informal training required to increase skills to meet work expectations.
- Understand and utilize documentation protocols and accurately and legibly complete all documentation on time to result in a product/process history consistent with GMP requirements.
- Apply understanding of appropriate Universal Operating Procedures (UOP's) pertaining to the work to be performed.
- Review, understand, and accurately complete in a timely fashion, all documents such as procedures, forms, worksheets, and notebooks.
- Route, handle, and/or store completed documentation appropriate for the work completed.
- Initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Nonconformance Reports (NCR) and Deviations, as applicable.
- Follow DiaSorin's established compliance procedures designed to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met. Activities may include audits, documentation, and the understanding of requirements of agencies such as OSHA, EPA, NRC, and FDA.
- Ability to work in multiple temperatures (Ambient, Cooler, and Freezer).
- Back up driver for transportation between 2 locations including loading and unloading.
- Ability to become certified on electric pallet jack and forklift.
Work Experience and Education Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma and two years of post-high school education at an accredited college, university or technical school with at least 1-2 years of inventory management work experience. required or
- H.S. Diploma with 3+ year's inventory management experience. required
- 1+ Years experience in a RF (Radio Frequency) environment preferred
- Strong calculative math skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively, with a wide range of co-workers in a cooperative and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments of the organization
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP R/3, materials management systems (MRP, WM) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Advanced problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Knowledge and skill in applying the metric system and associated conversion factor
- Ability to follow instructions, written or verbal.
- Ability to perform research and data collection and report this information accurately and effectively

The hourly posting for this position is $22.00-$27.00 Hourly.
