Description

Mirion is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cybersecurity Intern to support our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our software and products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity. This position is planned for a 3-month period but could be extended depending on performance, availability, and budget.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Complete cybersecurity reviews of installable 3rd party software.
  • Compile documentation and complete supplier assessments.



Potential Additional Responsibilities



  • Review and respond to cybersecurity questionnaires from customers inquiring about Mirion products.
  • Collect evidence of compliance with cybersecurity controls from frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and SOC 2.
  • Research and document existing Mirion cybersecurity controls.
  • Write implementation statements for cybersecurity controls.
  • Support the maintenance of Mirion's cybersecurity risk register, including documentation of plans of action and milestones for risk remediation.
  • Assist with other standard tasks that support the GRC program.
  • Assist with other standard tasks for other Cybersecurity departments.
  • Other general tasks as assigned.



Qualifications and Experience



  • Interest in cybersecurity.
  • Enrollment in a college pursuing a degree in cybersecurity.
  • Cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work and learn.



Melbourne, FL is preferred, but remote candidates will be considered.
