This individual will be required to participate in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services. Evaluate contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations. Request or approve amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. Prepare bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids. In depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint applications strongly preferred..



Major Position Responsibilities

    Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
  • Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
  • Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
  • Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
  • Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.


Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
  • Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years' experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Organizational skills. Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Leadership skills.
