The hiring range for this role is:

107,666.00 - 150,995.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range and this hiring range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.

Responsible for managing various governance-related projects and deliverables within a cross-functional matrix environment. Serves as a central point of contact and as a subject matter expert to provide content development for BCBSA Board committee and subcommittee deliverables. The role also supports the planning and execution of governance operations, including meeting planning, process management, operational support and logistical support. Builds relationships and collaborates with officers, senior management and business owners to address business needs, and support completion of well-written, clear, persuasive, and timely deliverables related to Board-standing Committees and their Subcommittees. Strong, proactive professional with strong writing, project management, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Primary Job Functions

  • Accountable for materials development in collaboration with senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and persuasive deliverables. Works cross-divisionally and in support of senior leadership to ensure consistency and audience-aligned content for governance meetings.
  • Key resource supporting corporate objectives through the consistent and successful completion of recurring governance activities for Board-standing committees and their subcommittees. Works cross-divisionally to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of the materials.
  • Manages multiple projects and deadlines effectively and efficiently. Works proactively to identify and resolve issues.

Education, Experience and Certification

Education
Required: Bachelors Degree; 4 year college degree.

Experience
Required: 5 years' related experience in healthcare and corporate governance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry, BCBSA and Plans.

  • Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to lead and manage competing projects and priorities.

  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels, exercising diplomacy and the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal business owners and senior leadership, while thriving in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
