If you have a passion for healthcare and share our common goal to help increase patient access to affordable, high-quality products and services, we encourage you to apply!The Harvest Specialist, based in Tampa, FL and reporting to the Manager of Mechanical Operations, plays a crucial role in ensuring the right parts inventory is recovered from complete medical units to supply our customer's part needs. The primary role of the Harvest Specialist is to remove parts from existing complete medical systems in a safe and secure manner and correctly logging the parts in our work order system. Every part that the Harvest Specialist removes must be done in a way that promotes the highest level of quality. This role also includes photography of parts identified by part numbers to log visual appearance of harvested parts. Therefore, the Harvest Specialist will also be responsible for performing basic quality checks of parts and/or systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs and logs daily safety checks. Performs secondary quality checks on repaired/tested parts. Assists in system testing validation. Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulations. Physically removes parts from imaging systems using a variety of tools and methods. Properly identifies parts from systems using parts manuals, online resources, and historical system information. Ensures all recoverable parts are properly removed and logged in work order system. Assists in system transport (in house, throughout building) and part transport within facility. Assists in part packaging/proper labeling. Assists in taking photographs of harvested parts to maintain a database of our part inventory by visual identification. Maintain a clean and safe work area and upkeep of photography equipment. Responsible for maintaining daily harvest throughput target (number of asset numbers created) Ensures quality through proper removal, managing warranty rates on harvested parts. 100% ESD compliance when handling parts.Primary job responsibilities are those which an employee must be able to perform with or without accommodation.
