Responsibilities include overseeing all claim resolution activities of the team to ensure accurate and timely disposition of claims in accordance with company protocols. This position works within broad authority limits and is accountable for implementing company initiatives and driving overall team results. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week). Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. Responsibilities & Qualifications Summary of Responsibilities Oversee a team of claims representatives responsible for managing moderate to complex casualty claims for our personal and commercial accounts. The majority of the claims are non-litigated auto and general liability bodily injuries, along with some general liability property damage exposures. Duties include triaging, assigning, and supervising the investigation and resolution of all claims within the team's identified territory. Assist with overflow volume as needed. Provide guidance, authority, and support to ensure high-quality claim resolutions. In charge of recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating personnel, including conducting audits, performance reviews, salary adjustments, and promoting team members. Additionally, manage special projects as assigned. Preferred Experience and Skills
5+ years of experience in claims management, with a focus on casualty claims.
