Summary:

To accelerate the inventory flow of all inbound products from dock to plant. Responsible for receiving of inventory and ensuring quality standards are met per the policies and standards of Pacific Seafood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth product receiving by scheduling dock appointments for orderly receiving of product.
  • Direct dock activities; coordinate staff scheduling to appropriately meet docks needs.
  • Maintain and enforce dock safety rules.
  • Oversee all APC receiving.
  • Monitor landing quality of all products received.
  • Schedule catch monitor for Warrenton offloads.
  • Ensure HACCP and SSOP's are met and rigorously enforce standards of sanitation and product handling.
  • Track quota deliveries per NOAA and state regulations.
  • Follow details on NOAA's catch monitor plans.
  • Count product, verifying amount received.
  • Issue fish ticket numbers for all deliveries.
  • Complete and submit E-Tickets.
  • Ensure all products are labeled properly.
  • Monitor fuel facility; maintain adequate fuel inventory.
  • Monitor ice house.
  • Assist with receiving and product transfer between facilities.
  • Review inventory with plant manager.
  • Maintain fisherman/vendor relationships by meeting performance standards.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year related experience and/or training.
Preferred:
  • Prior experience with HACCP, COOL Act, or other food safety programs.
  • HACCP or other Food Safety certification.
  • Fork-Lift Certification

Pay Range:$22.45 - $28.52 per hour
