Family Medicine RESIDENT

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Family Medicine Resident will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients under the supervision and guidance of attending physicians. This position is designed to fulfill the educational requirements outlined by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) while gaining practical experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse patient population across the lifespan.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong commitment to primary care and underserved populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and multitasking.
  • Capacity for self-reflection, adaptability, and continuous learning.
  • Prior experience in family medicine or primary care settings (preferred but not required).

EDUCATION / LICENSURE:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of USMLE or COMLEX examinations.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.
