We're seeking a highly motivated and proactive problem-solver to join the Verizon Value Technology Solutions team as a Manager of Operational Support. We're looking for candidates with a passion for driving positive change and enhancing operational efficiency. What you'll be doing:

As a Technology Solutions Operational Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Director of Technology Solutions and team, as well as interacting with leadership and teams across GTS, Customer Channels, Indirect/Retail, Product/CX, Marketing, Sales, and Data/Analytics. Your responsibilities will encompass key areas of delivering the next generation technology stack and the innovative customer, employee/partner, and business experiences to take our Verizon Value Brands beyond the competition in the marketplace.

These areas of focus include:

  • Project Management: Owning and driving specific projects on behalf of the Value NSA & Technology Solutions leadership team, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs, and developing cohesive project plans that improve operational efficiency and company culture. This includes creating visually appealing presentations, executive decks, and other communication materials tailored to different audiences.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact initiatives, providing regular updates and analysis to senior leadership.

  • Meeting Support: Supporting organization-wide meetings, including town halls, team calls, volunteer events, and larger meetings for the Value NSA & Technology Solutions team.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience, including leadership, sales, operations, marketing, or business analytics.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Up to 20% travel required.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP) and tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Business acumen and industry knowledge.

  • Experience leading within a large, global technology organization with matrix structures.

  • Proven ability to balance stakeholder interests, serve as a thought partner to senior leaders, and collaborate across teams to achieve strategic goals.

  • Experience using data and metrics to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.

  • Experience with process improvement, digital transformation, automation, and AI/ML implementation.

  • Experience managing budgets, headcount, and vendor relationships.

  • Talent development and management experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Google Suite, Asana, Jira, Atlassian, Slack, and Figma.

  • Collaborate with operations and PMO leadership to define, maintain, and communicate roadmap and timeline changes, including risk management strategies.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership, including action item follow-up.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree (ideally in Project Management).

  • PMP and/or MSP certification.

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Experience working alongside senior leaders.

  • Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience communicating with executives and diverse stakeholders, and collaborating on storytelling and content development..

Where you'll be working

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000.00 and $165,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
