The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will work closely with business leaders, group finance leaders and other key stakeholders to support FleetNet America. FleetNet America is a key strategic focus area and a primary growth engine for Cox Automotive. This role will be responsible for leading budget/forecasting activities, long-range planning and ad hoc financial analysis - including the development and coordination of data trend analysis and reporting. This role will also be responsible for analyzing business performance and synthesizing it into a concise story, leading communication to business leaders and influencing decision-making. Lastly, this role will also own the planning and analysis activities for the CAPTG function across all of Mobility Solutions.

**Internal employees who live near a Cox Automotive Hub or Corporate location will be considered.**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and conduct forward looking analysis to identify trends and develop recommendations to support and inform leadership and influence decision making
  • Manage the ad-hoc analyses of available data to communicate financial and operational insights, business performance, challenges, and opportunities
  • Build presentations summarizing insights and present to executive-level audiences
  • Lead all planning (forecast and budget) cycle processes and reporting deliverables for FleetNet - includes creating and communicating requirements, collaborating with groups on inputs, and building or coordinating all presentations
  • Promote modeling, reporting, and presentation best practices
  • Lead efforts to improve financial and metric data and processes to enhance analytic capabilities to better understand business performance
  • Identify, recommend and implement continuous process improvements, develop new capabilities, automate manual processes, and lead ad-hoc projects


Leadership & Development

  • Build and enhance a strong team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities.
  • Remain current on best practices and trends relevant to finance and related technologies.
  • Understand market conditions and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders within Manheim and across Cox Automotive ensuring that they understand and value the services provided by the Finance team and respond to feedback regarding opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and coach employee to increase engagement and strengthen professional development. Promote individual development and career growth.
  • Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 8+ years of experience preferred. Qualified candidates may also have a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience, a PhD with 3+ years of experience or 12+ years of equivalent work experience in a financial environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, correlation through logic, best practice structure/design, assumption toggling, charting/graphing, and formatting for executive presentations
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills with proven ability to create and present executive level presentations
  • Experience with OneStream is a plus
  • Outstanding analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong communication skills - can present views in a clear and compelling manner to different organizational levels
  • Ability to build strong trusted working relationships and influence internal and external business customers at all levels including executive level management
  • Strong process or project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Highly-organized with high sense of ownership, excellent follow-through, and a strong bias for action


USD 119,600.00 - 199,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $119,600.00 - $199,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
