Generally, twice a year for two consecutive days, all employees report to the office for special staff meetings/functions. As a result, only local candidates will be considered for this position. 

Salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience 

Job Summary 

AASM Marketing combines creativity and strategy to support organizational goals through data-driven insights and innovation. The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead digital initiatives, focusing on email and ad campaigns to enhance engagement, loyalty, and revenue. This role utilizes HubSpot, Google Ads, and other marketing technologies to engage AASM audiences, enhance brand visibility, and drive results. The ideal candidate excels in cross-functional collaboration, efficiency improvements, and optimizing marketing performance to meet objectives. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Manage and execute email marketing campaigns in CRM, primarily HubSpot, to nurture leads and enhance customer retention. 
  • Create, monitor, and optimize digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, display ads) to drive traffic and conversions. 
  • Coordinate with marketing specialists to ensure consistent brand messaging across digital and social media channels. 
  • Analyze the customer journey to identify opportunities for improved engagement, automation, and backend workflow efficiency. 
  • Pinpoint critical conversion points and optimize user funnels to improve performance. 
  • Track industry trends and insights to enhance ad spend efficiency and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.   
  • Manage campaign reporting and automate performance tracking for actionable insights. 
  • Optimize our marketing tech stack, including HubSpot (CRM), WordPress (CMS), social, and advertising platforms. 
  • Support digital marketing efforts for a specialty association under AASM management. 
  • Provide digital marketing support to specialty association under management contract with the AASM, leveraging the association’s preferred technology.   
  • Travel up to 10%, including occasional weekends. 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • B.A. in marketing or related field  
  • 3+ years in marketing or related role  
  • 3+ years HubSpot experience, Google Analytics & Ads experience   
  • 2+ years WordPress experience   
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels  
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments  
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines  
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints  
  • Strong project management skills  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Association experience  
  • Experience on data visualization platforms such as Google Data Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau
