Overview
FTI is looking for an experienced Scrum Master professional to join our growing organization. This position requires experience with Coaching the development of the team on Scrum principles, help the team focus on sprint goals to achieve their highest performance level, and ensure the Scrum project is successfully progressed. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. The Scrum Master will collaborate with a diverse program team and must be able to communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements. This work will primarily be performed in Colorado Springs, CO, with travel to integration sites as required.
Responsibilities
Lead, oversee, and direct multiple project teams and subcontractor team members to deliver exceptional client rated products and/or services.
- Lead and facilitate daily/weekly status meetings with team members, partners, and customer point-of-contacts.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, partners, and subcontractors to support project requirements and mission objectives.
- Work with external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project teams.
- Facilitate team organization and ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos and retrospectives).
- Identify and remove any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver against their commitments.
- Facilitate the creation and adoption of working agreements and definitions of done, including the use of appropriate tools, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct planning, quality control, risk mitigation, and critical thinking to optimize outcomes.
- Implement and employ appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- Facilitate and enable an environment of collaboration and creativity and empower the team to self-organize around achieving their commitments.
- Collaborate regularly with peers and groups on cross functional initiatives to improve overall company performance.
- Provide thought leadership on Agile, project management, governance, and service delivery.
- Additional duties' as assigned.
Education/Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field required (Master's degree preferred).
- 6+ years' experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum Master Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated working Knowledge & Experience in the following Areas: Agile software development, Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle Management, Cross-functional team.
- Experience with Information Technology.
- Experience with Jira and implementing Agile techniques in a software delivery environment.
- Experience in working directly with government clients.
- Experience with setting up sprints, running reports, and creating queries.
- Ability to support a technical delivery lead in decomposition sessions to determine the next steps for feature development.

For this role, the annual compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($94K-$155K)*. *Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
