The Revenue Auditor assists in the execution of revenue analysis in support of the creation, execution and measurement of pricing actions and strategies across core lines of business, under sales management direction.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Work closely with all divisions within the region to identify and quantify areas across all lines of business where there is opportunity on existing revenue for margin improvement. Identify individual accounts conducting contract reviews, running system reports and auditing to identify related performance improvement opportunities.
  • Assist operations with identifying those accounts that are negatively impacting routes, ensuring necessary action and sales follow up is taken to improve productivity.
  • Run and generate necessary reports that allow financial analysis to be performed helping to determine account profitability.
  • Run reports and review current state of pricing integrity within each L.O.B.
  • Research, analyze, and evaluate competitive pricing information.
  • Work in conjunction with sales reps to determine appropriate sales strategies, timing, amount(s) and possibility of rate adjustment (if applicable).
  • Assist sales rep with the development of presentations to impacted customers.
  • Work with sales team as well as individual departments to ensure appropriate action is taken and individual incidents are recorded, tracked, and measured.
  • Report the progress and effectiveness of tracking, recording, and measuring to various levels of management within the region or area.
  • Monitor region data entry into every system that affects our revenue achievement.
  • Work with accounting department helping to ensure Rumpke personnel correctly invoice and collect monies entitled to the Company from customers.
  • Facilitate price increase activity.
  • Provide recommendations and/or suggestions on paper flow efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:



  • Two or more years of waste and recycling industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree - business, finance, economics, marketing, etc. (Equivalent experience acceptable).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Office 365 and Pivot Tables) in particular creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
  • Must have working knowledge of Company information systems applications including AS-400, Soft-Pak, iPak, SMS.



Physical Requirements in a Regular workday:



  • Continuously sitting/standing/walking in office environment.



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.
