Your Role

Mission:

Roles and Responsibilities:

At APT, under the guidance of a highly experienced Operations Supervisor, you will learn:

• to maintain, paint, troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish a variety of handheld construction tools.
• to configure pneumatic tools required for the local market (pre-delivery inspection).
• to report recurring issues or recommend tool upgrades to management and maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Perform diagnostic, repairs, preventive maintenance and malfunctions on pneumatic tools.

In addition, the role involves:

• handling incoming and outgoing shipments,
• maintaining inventory and ensuring efficient warehouse operations,
• inspecting goods,
• examining received product for damage and defects and reporting any issues,
• preparing equipment for shipment by identifying their location, picking FIFO order, staging for shipping

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Experience:
To qualify for our apprenticeship program, you must:

• be enrolled in a relevant course of study at a technical school or college (or have completed an academic program).
• be willing to work assigned hours each week at a nearby service center under the guidance of a the operations supervisor.

Education:

• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Be enrolled in a relevant course of study at a technical school or college (or have completed an academic program)

Skills:

• be motivated to continue increasing your knowledge and skills in working on handheld industrial tools.
• accept feedback and use it to develop yourself.
• perform your job duties in accordance with the expectations of a professional work environment.
