TITLE: Packer B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The General Packer is primarily responsible for all the packaging of the finished goods. He or she is to ensure that all finished goods are packaged in a manner that will allow the material to be shipped with no damage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years PVC work experience
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on expertise
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate all equipment that is related to packaging of the finished goods
• Understands all the procedures that concerns packaging of finished goods
• Responsible for all broken pallet orders, to ensure that each order is done completely and in a timely manner
• Responsible for verifying all daily finished good packaging and corrects as required
• Provides training of new employees on all packaging specification
• Responsible for the housekeeping of their assigned areas

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Manufacturing environment
• Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions
• Subject to noise, causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level
• Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body
