What you'll do

As the leader of IT Applications Product Management, you will drive the execution of our strategic IT application roadmap, aligning technology with business priorities. This role demands strategic vision, decisive leadership, and a data-driven approach to solving complex business challenges. You will bridge the gap between technology and business, ensuring IT applications are not just enablers, but catalysts for transformation.

Your primary responsibility is to engage with ELT members and their leadership teams, deeply understanding their business needs and translating them into a forward-looking IT product strategy. You will ensure business-critical applications align with organizational goals, drive an autonomous employee and customer experience, and lead a high-performing product management organization.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in applications management, cloud technologies, and the software development lifecycle. You will lead the transformation of the IT solutions lifecycle, defining vision, strategy, and execution from prioritization to adoption. You will work cross-functionally, leveraging IT engineering, data, and security teams within DTS, and you will be empowered to make key decisions that shape the future of IT applications at Docusign.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the EVP, Chief Information Officer.

Responsibility

  • Develop and execute the strategic business plan for IT application products including ERP, CRM, marketing and corporate applications that align with the company goals (Revenue growth, churn reduction, international expansion)

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to transform and enhance customer and employee experience

  • Identify, evaluate and implement emerging technologies that drive competitive advantage for Docusign

  • Foster a culture of innovation across the organization and encourage continuous improvement

  • Prioritize investments and initiatives in close collaboration with business leaders including ELT members

  • Ensure application security, compliance, and governance best practices are top of mind and implemented through the software development lifecycle

  • Ensure operational efficiencies with clear metrics across the end to end lifecycle of the products, including release metrics, adoption, operational KPIs and most importantly establish co-relation with the business KPIs


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including significant experience in a senior management role

Preferred

  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise application management, data analysis and cloud computing
  • Proven track record in developing and executing IT strategies that drive business success
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
  • Collaborative leadership skills with the ability to assert when needed
  • Deep data and analytical focus to ensure operational rigor
  • Comfortable with navigating a complex landscape including diverse organizations, executive leadership team, customer and our partner base
  • Domain knowledge of enterprise process areas such as quote to cash, procure to pay, HR and marketing

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $258,600.00 - $410,450.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
