Work Schedule:


8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Rate of Pay/Benefits:



This is a Full-Time Administrative position at grade 14, with an annual salary range of $54,389 to $72,518. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:



An employee in this classification will manage the end-to-end recruitment process and analyze recruitment data to optimize our hiring strategies. This role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers, as well as providing insights and recommendations based on recruitment metrics.



Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
2. Proven experience in recruitment or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, HRIS).
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when required by the department's needs.



Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  1. Experience in a Higher Education environment.
  2. Working knowledge of a union environment.



Essential Duties:




  1. Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding. This includes creating and posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial phone screens, scheduling and facilitating interviews, extending job offers, negotiating terms, conducting background and reference checks, and coordinating onboarding with HR colleagues and other departments.
  2. Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activities. This includes accurately entering and updating candidate information, tracking and documenting recruitment activities, generating reports to monitor progress and performance, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality, and training hiring managers and team members on effective ATS use.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners. Develop strong candidate relationships for a positive experience, communicate regularly with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide updates, collaborate with external agencies to source top talent, attend job fairs and networking events to build a talent pipeline, and offer ongoing support and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  4. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a broad candidate pool and improve recruitment efficiency. Utilize various sourcing channels, create targeted recruitment marketing campaigns, analyze and adjust sourcing strategies, provide data-driven insights and recommendations, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  5. Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recruitment metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators. Measure time to fill and time to hire, calculate cost per hire, identify effective sources of hire, assess candidate quality, and monitor offer acceptance rates to optimize the recruitment process.
