Associate Manager, Production

As a global leader for networking solution innovation, Super Micro'smission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high performance networking products. The Associate Production Manager will be responsible for all aspects of production activities in the manufacturing area, assisting the Production Manager to oversee the overall operation in the manufacturing area. You will bring your expertise, experience and insight to mature our processes, play a crucial role in meeting the daily target while maintain the quality targets. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to work beyond boundaries and capable to do what it takes to meet the production goals.

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

* Responsible for daily output plan and production schedule, product quality yields and inventory control

* Oversee the product engineering and standard operating procedure

* Understand customer requirement and formulate delivery plan

* Manage and supervise team members to meet corporate operating rules and policy

* Continuous improvement in all aspect of production operations

* Conducts new hire and ongoing training in all production departments

* Other management assigned duties and tasks

• BS degree in EE, CS, or relevant discipline preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of relative work experience in electronic or computer industry preferred
• Strong analytical skills as well as computer skills, be able to use spreadsheet
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
• Good comprehension of English in writing and verbal, and with Mandarin being considered a plus
• Additional certificates, licenses and registrations are considered a plus
• Able to work in fast pace testing environment
• Ability to work overtime and weekend depending on business demands

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

The physical demands and work conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

* Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items.

* Perform tasks that require standing and walking for long periods up to entire shift.

* Lift, carry, push and pull in an excess of 25lb and up to 40lbs. Able to utilize a "buddy system" for moving objects more than 50 lbs.

(For applicable positions: Must be able to operate pallet jack and forklift efficiently and safely.)

* Work in an Environment with Noise Level of 85dBA or > for an extended period of time.

* Must be able to wear safety shoes, earmuffs or other required PPE as needed.

* Primarily works indoors with controlled climate conditions.

$80,000 - $100,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
