Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition and subscriber growth, primarily for our Internet product. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of email campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all campaign assets. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in Long Island City, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsbilites
  • Email Campaign Execution: Implement and manage acquisition-focused email campaigns, targeting specific audience segments to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaboration & Creative Development: Work closely with the internal creative services team to create compelling marketing materials, including copywriting, art direction, and creative guidance. Write detailed creative briefs, manage copy requests, and oversee the development of assets. Provide clear and constructive feedback on designs and messaging to ensure alignment with campaign goals.
  • Agency & External Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the email agency and other external partners. Traffic deliverables, coordinate timelines, and send Creative Request Forms to the email agency. Ensure all assets are reviewed for quality control, including proofreading for grammar, spelling, and overall messaging consistency.
  • Campaign Scheduling & Quality Assurance: Ensure all emails are scheduled for timely delivery, adhering to weekly deadlines. Manage multiple campaigns and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing proactive solutions.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Develop and maintain campaign recaps and presentations. Prepare status reports, creative calendars, and project timelines to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Direct Mail Marketing Support: Assist with tasks related to Direct Mail marketing, including briefing agencies, proofreading content, and maintaining sample records.
  • Legal Compliance: Partner with the legal team to ensure that all email marketing campaigns and direct mail tactics comply with legal requirements and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, project management, or agency account management.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, email marketing best practices, and design principles.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to monitor, interpret, and communicate campaign metrics and performance to internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with creative agencies and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
