Requisition ID# 164194 Job Category: Engineering / Science Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Electric Engineering Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview The Electric Engineering team ensures the delivery of safe and reliable electric service to our customers. Electric Engineering is responsible for PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response. Position Summary This position is represented by Engineers and Scientist of California (ESC) subject to collective bargaining. This Transmission Line Design Engineer will be part of the Work Verification Team, an integral part of the Transmission Lines Design Engineering Department at Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Work Verification is the qualitative review of all completed Electric Transmission work submitted by PG&E construction. Work Verification team reviews all notification documentation for compliance with the plans, specifications, and standards prior to notification closure. This includes reviewing and confirming: * Transmission line equipment * Transmission lines * Design of foundations and structures * Technical assistance on feasibility studies * Review design and construction drawings prepared by contractors * Construction support * As-builts and record keeping This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the timeofthe job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to anindividualwill be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses orcertifications,experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreement, and internalequity. Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, the hourly rate range for this position is $44.70 to $74.42,subject to collectively bargained wage increases. Job Responsibilities
