About the Team/Role

This role contributes to our growth mission through focused marketing execution in fleet card marketing and demand generation. This position contributes to the growth of the Chevron and Texaco North American fleet card portfolio through the precise execution of demand generation and growth marketing plans. You will translate established marketing strategies into tangible results, driving pipeline growth and portfolio success through campaign execution and performance analysis. You will be a key driver of revenue generation by ensuring marketing plans are implemented effectively and efficiently.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to support complex marketing campaigns and initiatives. Critically, this role requires a candidate who demonstrates a strong track record of seeing projects through from inception to completion, ensuring all phases are managed effectively and goals are met. You will manage critical cross-functional projects, working closely with marketing partners, sales teams, and portfolio stakeholders to maintain momentum of key initiatives across the portfolio to achieve our aggressive growth objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Core Marketing Execution & Campaign Management

  • Support comprehensive marketing plans: This includes annual planning, demand and lead generation activities, and specific initiatives for the Chevron and Texaco fleet card portfolio.

  • Develop marketing materials: This includes drafting creative briefs, copy editing, and producing sales materials.

  • Build and manage targeted audiences: This involves cross-collaboration to build lists and audience segmentation

  • Support execution of efficient and effective campaign operations: This includes on-time, on-budget execution, asset production, and proactive issue resolution.

  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance: This involves reviewing market response, identifying trends, processing data, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships: This includes working with key business executives, stakeholders, sales teams, creative teams, and analytics teams.

  • Provide clear and effective communication: This includes sales communication, frontline readiness, campaign reporting, and post-campaign analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: This includes partnering with creative and analytics teams for effective campaign execution.

Strategic Support

  • Support strategic marketing goals: This includes driving awareness, interest, lead generation, pipeline creation, revenue growth, and achieving ROI across acquisition, engagement, and cross-sell initiatives.

  • Support Program Initiatives: This includes working on other projects, alongside the leadership team, as assigned by management.

Project Management

  • Demonstrate a proven ability to support critical cross-functional projects (e.g., marketing campaigns, program development initiatives) through every stage, ensuring timely completion, adherence to deadlines, and stakeholder buy-in.

General:

  • Expected travel <20%.

Experience You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a B2B environment.

  • Proven success in executing marketing and demand/lead generation campaigns.

  • Experience in implementing marketing tactics aligned to a full-funnel demand and lead generation approach.

  • Strong self-motivation, positive attitude, and ability to work independently.

  • Problem solving and critical thinking.

  • Demonstrated success in managing projects from start to finish.

  • Strong interpersonal,communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite.

  • Experience in financial services, credit card marketing, or the fuel industry is a plus.

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • Project Management experience is preferred

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
