Director Assistant Treasurer Position Summary The Director Assistant Treasurer role will lead a team who manages the company's balance sheet including debt origination and management, cash investments, short and long-term liquidity forecasting, cash operations, and technological innovation. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader who is passionate about developing crewmembers and working alongside cross-functional teams to execute and deliver results. The Director Assistant Treasurer is a key leader of the Finance team that is dedicated to the execution of financing and cash management in support of the corporate strategy. The Director is an influential leader who is comfortable with maintaining a public profile and is skilled at building and maintaining internal and external relationships at all levels. Essential Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a team of analytical and high potential crewmembers
- Transform and oversee day-to-day cash management and investments to achieve optimal results, including letters of credit, bank account management and treasury technology
- Analyze, assess and provide optimal capital structure recommendations to leadership, based on JetBlue's 5-year financial plan and the company's balance sheet goals
- Facilitate financing transactions through a variety of structures to support JetBlue's strategy
- Execute share-buy- back analysis, documentation and programs
- Build, manage and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and rating agencies
- Act as a pro-active trusted thought partner to the finance leadership team
- Partner with Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations on quarterly and annual financial close and earnings calls
- Assist Financial Planning & Analysis and the Fleet Strategy team in maintaining the long-term financial forecast
- Adhere to all policies resulting in internal and external audit controls being met
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Seven (7) years of finance and/or analytical experience
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills
- Meaningful talent development and team building experience
- Strong record of successful negotiations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication including interactions with executive leadership
- Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or related post-secondary education
- Previous aviation or treasury experience

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $165,000.00 and $205,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
