Position summary:
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Showroom Manager and Account Executives with tasks that focus on making the sale. Duties include pulling samples from inventory, and maintaining the sample and book inventory. The Materials Coordinator will organize and maintain the showroom's appearance, receive and ship samples as requested, and will ensure office supplies and kitchen items are always on hand.

Educational requirements:
* HS/GED
* Completion of some college coursework preferred

Skills and experience:
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
* Professional, polite demeanor
* Computer skills with Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail
* Demonstrated experience working both independently and as part of a team

Essential duties:
* Maintain Showroom appearance and open/close daily
* Pull inventory for shipment, prepare shipping documents
* Order inventory from LaGrange, receive, and restock the Showroom
* Greet guests and provide assistance
* Assist AE's with needs for presentations, meetings, etc
* Maintain housekeeping
* Comply with safety rules
* Comply with environmental regulations
* Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
* Willingness to learn and understand Interface's commitment to sustainability
* Perform other duties as assigned

Physical demands:
Lifting up to 60 lbs

Work environment:
General office/showroom
