Company Overview

Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.



Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Lead to join our team. This role will be instrumental in fostering Agile practices across multiple program teams, ensuring the effective use of collaboration tools, and driving continuous improvement. The Agile Lead will act as a coach, facilitator, and advocate for Agile methodologies, supporting team and program-level planning and execution.



Responsibilities

    Facilitate Agile Practices:
    • Champion Agile methodologies and promote Agile principles across program teams.
    • Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product demos.
  • Collaboration Tools Management:
    • Ensure teams are proficient in using collaboration tools such as Jira, Align, and GitHub.
    • Optimize tools for improved workflow visibility, transparency, and reporting.
    • Train team members on best practices for tool usage to enhance task management and reporting.
  • Agile Coaching:
    • Provide ongoing coaching to team members to foster understanding and adoption of Agile principles.
    • Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Address and resolve impediments to Agile adoption.
  • Backlog Management:
    • Assist Product Owners in grooming and prioritizing the backlog to align with program goals.
    • Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring items are well-defined and ready for development.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align backlog with business objectives.
  • Program-Level Planning:
    • Support integration of team backlogs into a cohesive program roadmap.
    • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align deliverables with program milestones.
    • Monitor and report on program initiatives, identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
  • Visibility and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for team and program performance visibility.
    • Analyze metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Communicate progress and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.


Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Agile Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Align, and GitHub.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills.
  • Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
  • Analytical skills with a capability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or similar.
  • Experience in managing or facilitating large-scale Agile transformations.
