KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of data management, information governance, eDiscovery, and advisory services solutions, is seeking an Events Marketing Manager (Americas) to lead the development and execution of impactful event campaigns. This is a hands-on role that requires strong logistical coordination, deadline management, and cross-team communication to ensure seamless event execution both in-person and virtual. The Event Manager role demands someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, establish workflows, and drive operational excellence in all aspects of event marketing, including strategic promotion, audience engagement, and integrated marketing efforts.

As the Event Marketing Manager, you will take full ownership of event planning and execution, ensuring all logistics-from vendor coordination and booth setup to material shipments and sponsorship deliverables-are handled efficiently. You will be responsible for ongoing communication across internal teams to keep everyone aligned on deadlines and requirements. Marketing and promotional efforts will be integrated to maximize engagement, while strong project management and organization will keep all moving parts on track.

This role requires up to 20% travel for on-site event management and execution.

Key Responsibilities



  • Event Planning & Logistics Execution: Lead hands-on planning, logistics, and execution for events, ensuring all timelines are met, materials are shipped in advance, and vendor coordination is seamless. Oversee arrangements, sponsorship deliverables, booth setup, speaker schedules, and lead capture systems.
  • Cross-Team Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, external vendors, and event partners. Maintain ongoing communication to ensure all stakeholders understand expectations, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Develop and execute event marketing campaigns, including email promotions, landing pages, and social media efforts, ensuring events reach the right audiences and drive maximum engagement.
  • Project Management & Organization: Establish and maintain structured workflows to manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring alignment with key business goals and seamless execution.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Oversee vendor contracts, event budgets, and cost negotiations to optimize event spend while ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and analyze event performance, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements based on engagement metrics and ROI.
  • Process Development: Create and refine event processes, ensuring streamlined workflows, consistency, and scalability for future events.
  • Business Development Support: Work behind the scenes to ensure Business Development teams can focus on selling, free from logistical or operational distractions.


Qualifications



  • Proven experience in hands-on event planning, managing, logistics, coordination, and marketing both in-person and virtual events in a B2B environment.
  • Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and bring organization to high-complexity event operations.
  • Experience in developing scalable event processes and structuring workflows to drive efficiency and repeatability.
  • Experience managing multiple vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing event budgets.
  • Strong English Proficiency: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively promote events and engage with stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with event management platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for on-site event management and execution.

Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.
