What you'll be doing...

Responsible for managing a team of people leaders who lead Solution Architects responsible for designing and delivering advanced solutions to accelerate the sales process and win business working with customers in our Hyperscaler, System Integrators, and International B-End Global Enterprise segment.

Typically, pre-sales-oriented, providing technical expertise and engaging customers and stakeholders over the course of the sales cycle.

What we're looking for...

Coaching & Leadership Skills

  • Provide professional development frameworks to motivate, and coach Solutions Architect leaders to develop their team's product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Make recommendations regarding the hiring, firing, advancement, performance, promotion or any other change of status of team members. Assess employee performance, hold employees accountable, take appropriate corrective actions, and train and provide ongoing direction and feedback to team members.
  • Demonstrate and encourage on-going performance coaching and execute on Development Plans or Performance Improvement Plans when necessary in accordance with HR guidelines.

Solution Design & Technology Expertise

  • Provides strategic plan around use of technology bridging business needs to technology solutions.
  • Monitor emerging technologies/trends and design value proposition & sales programs that can be offered to sales teams & customers
  • Provide timely market information, drivers and customer feedback to our partner organizations for product and technology positioning and enhancements.

Executive Customer Engagement

  • Drive excellence in solutions development, solutions selling, and opportunity closure through strategic engagement with assigned customer base to maximize sales efforts of your organization.
  • Build and encourage strong, long-lasting customer relationships through partnering and understanding their needs.
  • Executive alignment and EBC presentation skills.

Sales Partnership Experience

  • Act as trusted advisor to Sales Leaders ensuring alignment and execution of strategic goals.
  • Ensure Solution Architect teams are achieving sales and growth targets and reach expected quotas.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience working with Hyperscalers and System Integrators
  • Experience with Dark Fiber and AI Connect initiatives
  • Experience leading both Wireline and Wireless Solution Architect roles

Where you'll be working

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $166,000.00 and $308,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
