The Value Reporting & Analytics organization seeks a Senior Manager of Data Utilization to spearhead our initiatives in consuming and leveraging data effectively to enhance customer experiences and fuel business growth. This role is integral to reimagining how our organization utilizes data, transitioning from mere insights to actionable strategies that inform our daily operations and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will embody exceptional soft skills such as storytelling, collaboration, and a profound curiosity about our business landscape. By deeply understanding our organizational structure and customer needs, this leader will pioneer innovative methods to harness data, facilitate cross-departmental synergies, and uncover untapped growth opportunities.   • Partnering with diverse teams across the business, including technical teams, to identify their goals and determine how data can be integrated into their strategies to enhance effectiveness.

  • Collecting and documenting user needs to ensure that data utilization aligns seamlessly with business objectives and enhances operational outcomes.

  • Leading workshops with stakeholders to extract meaningful insights, fostering alignment on strategic initiatives and data applications.

  • Evaluating the effects of system changes and promotional strategies on customer experiences, offering actionable recommendations based on data consumption.

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive overview of ongoing initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer impacts and business objectives.

  • Overseeing the lifecycle of data-driven projects from conception through execution, ensuring that they meet organizational goals and customer needs.

  • Tracking progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings regularly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Acting as a bridge between departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring that data utilization strategies align with overarching strategic goals.

  • Crafting compelling narratives and presentations that effectively drive awareness of the 360 strategy, while also sharing insights and data-driven strategies with diverse audiences.

This role is a hybrid schedule in office that includes assigned office days (VCG in office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

What we're looking for ...

As the Senior Manager of Data Utilization, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping our data consumption strategy, emphasizing a proactive approach to data application that enhances customer experiences and drives business initiatives. This position focuses on translating data into effective operational frameworks that align with our organizational goals. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure data insights are not only understood but are also strategically applied to benefit both our customers and the organization.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Six years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with a strong emphasis on customer experience enhancement and business growth.

  • Proven track record of transforming data into strategic initiatives that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a passion for identifying and leveraging untapped opportunities through data utilization.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, R, Python).

  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their applications in business contexts.

  • Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

  • Background in customer journey mapping and user experience design.

  • Understanding of industry trends and best practices in data utilization and analytics.

  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members in data-driven methodologies.

Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager. Scheduled Weekly Hours40 Equal Employment Opportunity

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $101,000.00 and $188,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
