What You'll Do:
We are seeking a motivated IT Database Administration Intern with solid technical skills and familiarity with database concepts and SQL - and a strong willingness to learn. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on experience in database administration while developing essential skills in SQL, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, information system management, and related technologies.
Key responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting with database security through analyzing the database daily audit report.
  • Monitoring Triton's databases.
  • SQL tuning and backing up SQL server database.
  • Working closely with Triton's data analysts to better understand key projects they are working on and any issues they encounter.
  • Contribute to database and information systems efforts for key projects.



What We're Looking For:


  • Rising senior, recent graduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of databases and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic Linux commands.
  • A high level of interest in acquiring database, Linux, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and project priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week.


  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY office
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

* This is a paid internship. The expected hourly rate for this role is $20/hour.
