Unit Secretary - General Medicine - Baird 3

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Unit Secretary is responsible for the secretarial aspects of the nursing unit. She/he acts as a support person to the nursing staff and other members of the health care team for indirect aspects of patient care. This position functions as a pivotal communication link between the health care team, other departments and patients and families.

BAIRD 3:

Baird 3 opened as an Adult Medicine - Telemetry unit in June 2019. The team that makes up Baird 3 was originally cultivated utilizing experienced UVMMC staff and newly hired staff from all over the world. Over the years, Baird 3 has created a positive and enthusiastic environment that uplifts and supports one another.

EDUCATION:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous employment in an office or health care environment.
