Oversees the planning, design, and utilization of physical space. This role ensures that facilities meet operational needs, comply with regulatory standards, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions:
1. Assesses current facility usage and future needs.
2. Primary oversight of Facilities-related technology tools used for space and occupancy planning, such as: drafting, ticketing, IWMS, dashboards, wayfinding, etc.
Other Responsibilities
Metrics: Captures as-built conditions for all spaces; performs quality checks to ensure all poly-lines as well as both employee and cost center data are properly uploaded into the enterprise systems. Efficiencies: Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand current space allocations, recommends strategies to enhance workflow and efficiency. Furniture: Key contact for all furniture purchases. Assists users with budget-friendly furniture selection process, places order, and oversees delivery / installation. Signage: Coordinates with MGB to update and improve existing signage throughout the Belmont campus Studies: Conducts feasibility studies which inform space planning decisions.
Long-term efforts
File Maintenance: Maintains all record drawings and is responsible for updating electronic CAD files to reflect changes (walls moved, room # changes, etc) Standards development: Work with existing McLean plans to develop and maintain standards for FF&E Consistency: Maintains physical sample library (carpet, paint swatches, etc).

Strong understanding of space planning principles and best practices, particularly in a healthcare setting. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence. Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize space usage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and building codes relevant to hospital facilities. Assembles graphically clear, compelling presentations. Strong attention to detail, especially with respect to design. Impeccable customer service skills, responsive and acts with purposeful urgency. Excellent verbal and written communications skills across all levels of an organization. Medium-to-high proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar. Highly proficient with MS Office suite: creates effective PowerPoint presentations; works with Excel data sets, pivot tables and charts; understands Microsoft Teams file-sharing. Learns new software quickly.
