Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager, Childbirth Education.
In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for supporting Hospital Operations projects by contributing to the development, implementation and success of
service line projects and initiatives. The project manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements and delivering projects on time and within budget by:
Maintaining effective communication with the multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Analyzing project status and when necessary, revising the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure the project requirements can be met.
Developing and administering schedules
Developing project plans to include information such as objectives, funding, schedules, and staff.
Collaborating with healthcare professional to improve the efficiency and quality of delivered healthcare services
Analyzing growth trends of tele-health services for lactation services and educational classes for perinatal support services and obstetrical
departments.
Coordinating patient/employee classes for perinatal support services and obstetrical departments.
Maintaining accurate and consistent electronic employee files
Job Responsibilities:
Build and promote positive working relationships with all stakeholders. Perform ad hoc data analysis to
support project planning.
Plan and manage perinatal support services and obstetrical department projects and integration efforts as determined by manager,
director, and or other leadership.
Assemble and maintain project plans and documentation of project progress using standardized project
management tools.
Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
Manage the project meetings using project plans to meet key deadlines and ensure progress of the project.
Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones, using project management tools to meet customer needs.
Develop applicable process and outcome metrics to measure project success.
Provide administrative support for perinatal support services and obstetrical departments committee meetings including agendas, key
decisions,and follow up action items.
Provides progress reports for different projects overseen
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health Administration or related field. Professional Certifications: American Heart
Association CPR instructor & Certified Lactation Counselor. 3 - 5 years of Healthcare management experience with data analysis.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Knowledge of project management tools, methods and best
practice. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication (both oral and written),interpersonal,
organization, leadership skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within the 1st year of hire. CLC certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health Administration or related field. 5-6 years Project management
experience with healthcare. Lamaze certified childbirth educator (LCCE).
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $101,159.31 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
