Overview

Assists in the administrative, sales and clerical support to Mortgage Loan Officers and Mortgage Sales Managers, issues are often more complex in nature.

This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity that will provide flexibility to work remote up to 3 days per week after initial training has been completed.

Primary will be in office location will be Herndon, VA



Responsibilities

    Set up and maintain mortgage loan files.
  • Assist customers and prospects throughout the loan process to further enhance business relationship. Coordinate communication between realtors, title agents and customers with regards to settlement, commitment letters and items needed for loan approval.
  • Gather necessary documentation to assist Mortgage Loan Officer or Mortgage Sales Manager in underwriting and credit review of borrower.
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Officer or Mortgage Sales Manager in gathering and preparing loan submissions.
  • Responsible for entering and closing referrals in the Fulton Financial Corporation connect system.
  • Enters data and maintains marketing programs and tools such as Loan Officer Toolbox.
  • Assist in maintaining Loan Officer calendar for client meeting, sales calls and other bank meetings.
  • Responsible for coordinating with Fulton Mortgage Company marketing coordinator to fulfill Loan Officer marketing needs for flyers and or trade show events.
  • Assist with data entry into Fulton Mortgage Company's loan origination system.
  • Responsible for the communication and follow up between Loan Officers, realtors, customers, and processing staff. Acts as a liaison between parties to ensure clear and constant communication.
  • Frequently communicates directly with customers. Obtains information and documentation from customers to complete mortgage applications and cost estimates.
  • Works with customers in structuring of residential mortgage loans. Presents various loan programs and benefits of each to the customer.
  • Reviews underwriting guidelines, structure the loan and submits to the automatic underwriting system. Restructure loans to meet guides and get approval.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and attends settlements.


Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

Experience

2 or more years Mortgage banking. (Required)

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible to participate in a commission plan.
