Position Summary:

As our Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations in our RFM Haverhill facility. Responsibilities include optimizing production processes, supply chain efficiency, machining, assembly, materials, quality, safety, and overall production management to deliver on our customer shipment commitments and drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or 8-10+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, or a relevant leadership position
• Minimum 3 years of production management experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience, with knowledge of technical standards:

Including ISO 9001 & AS9100D requirements

• Demonstrated leadership, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and/or lean manufacturing skills.
• Experience with financial analysis and an understanding of how operational actions impact financial performance
• Analytical thinker with demonstrated technical ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, lead improvement initiatives, and interface with customers' technical resources.
• Prior multi-disciplined business operations leadership experience is preferred.
• Must be an effective mentor and experienced operations leader with a collaborative team-oriented personality.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an acute ability to listen attentively and to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work effectively and to initiate the completion of multiple tasks

• Achieving the budgeted Revenue & EBITDA / Operating Income targets
• Long-term Organic Growth - have a plan to profitably grow top line organically by 10% every year

that impacts EBITDA/Operating Income by being focused on efficient scheduling and planning, improved OTD & Yields, contract review, Reduction / Elimination of RMAs & CARs, & reduced labor variance and material scrap

• EHS, Safety / Training - support and awareness.
• Culture - Champion the Winchester culture while creating a strong business unit, while having a positive, engaged, and infectious attitude
• Collaborate across RFM in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions
• Actively participate both internally and externally on NPI projects, Engineering requirements, RMAs, CARs, production, and general customer service.
• Establish KPI's and communicate them regularly to your team and other departments (make visible)
• Set the Operations strategy that aligns with RFM's short and long-term growth goals, focuses on your department, and complements the others
• Strengthen/build your department resources with the short and long-term growth strategy in mind & align personnel to achieve the best results. including cross-training individuals where needed (utilize the DOA for hiring)
• Continuously seek ways to simplify your operations and processes, invest and/or rationalize costs for production improvements (utilize the DOA for approvals)
• Empower others within your team to take action to support the department's goals and objectives, using new incentive ideas
