Senior Manager, Oncology Product Portfolio Marketing

Myriad is looking for a Sr. Manager, Oncology Portfolio Marketing to join our Oncology Marketing team. In this role, you will lead the Product Marketing team and overall strategy development and initiatives for the Oncology portfolio, develop our Oncology portfolio narrative and drive our commercialization approach. This Sr Marketing leader will have expertise in product marketing with experience collaborating with product, product development, and other partners to drive commercialization and product marketing strategy. You will understand the value of our full product portfolio (where we are and where we're going) and how we provide value to clinicians and patients across their entire cancer journey. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Oncology Marketing, you will lead and coach a team of product marketing professionals. Must have a minimum of 8 years marketing experience including people leadership and experience in oncology biotech, precision medicine, or related space preferred. Must enjoy engaging with complex scientific information and clinical data and be able to distill insights for commercial implications. Strong collaboration and people leadership skills are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities will include some or all the following:



  • Continue to build vision and strategy for product marketing team that reflects full Myriad Oncology Portfolio: MyRisk with RiskScore, MyRisk, Precise Tumor, Prolaris, MyChoice, EndoPredict
  • Ensure all product marketing efforts reinforce a portfolio approach to drive awareness of and rationale for purchasing multiple products within the portfolio
  • Lead team in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the entire product portfolio to drive growth and market share across all products, aligned with sales goals
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the portfolio
  • Develop and manage annual cadence of deliverables and activities including long range plans, strategy development, launch and marketing execution
  • Drive efforts to share strategies, plans and performance with a broad set of stakeholders to build alignment
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from launch to growth, maturity, and eventual phase-out. This involves coordinating with product teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained market presence
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all products in the portfolio.
  • Portfolio strategy and execution

    • Understand and evolve our portfolio approach to all target audiences
    • Plan and execute new product launches, coordinating strategy and execution across several functions to ensure commercial and enterprise readiness.

  • Build engagement and "Win as One Team"

    • Development of content or activities for workshops and meetings
    • Create a culture of openness, collaboration, focus and execution
    • Support capability development in key areas across the team - related to engagement in clinical, business development and omnichannel and data and analytics topics.



Key Deliverables:



  • Development of Myriad Oncology product portfolio marketing strategy that aligns with overall business objectives, and drive strategy across all key stakeholders targeting key customer call points (medical oncologist, gyn oncologist, breast surgeon, urologist, radiation oncologist, pathologist)
  • Launch of new urologist and radiation oncologist strategy, messaging and materials that align with Myriad Oncology and sell full portfolio
  • Development of standardized product launch template that captures key marketing activities and can be used across entire product marketing team for all new product/new feature launches
  • Creation of team and individual MBOs for product marketing that align with portfolio strategy and drive business forward
  • Lead competitive workstream to deliver competitive playbook and training
  • Lead and build strong team of product marketers
  • Lead change initiatives within the marketing function to adapt to evolving market conditions and business needs.
  • Successful launch of new products
  • In partnership with Sr. Manager, Omnichannel, development of FY26 marketing plan


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred
  • 8+ years of professional marketing experience with 5+ years of product marketing preferred
  • 2+ years of people / team leadership or equivalent experience required
  • Product Marketing experience in biotech, medical device, or similar industry preferred
  • Clinical knowledge or understanding of oncology or urology with marketing product launch experience in these therapeutic areas preferred
  • Must have experience

    • launching and supporting existing products
    • leading a product marketing team
    • owning and driving product and product portfolio marketing strategy and tactics
    • creating clinical marketing content

  • Excellent attention to detail, very well organized and ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Clear and concise communication skills with high initiative and ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time
  • Up to 10-20% travel required


Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
