Manufacturing Technician Category: Life Science Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-383886 Yoh is hiring Part time/ Weekend Manufacturing Technicians for our South San Francisco, CA client. As the Manufacturing Technician, you will be focused on supporting the Manufacturing, Process Development, and MSAT teams with general manufacturing tech duties. Industry: Cell Therapy Location: South San Francisco, CA Compensation: $35-45 Type: 9 month temp Shift: Friday - Monday, 1pm - 9pm Roles & Responsibilities Aseptically fill sterile liquid transfer devices Aseptically prepare cell culture media, reagents, and buffers Prepare assay samples and reagents for testing Prepare sterile cell culture media Routine maintenance of equipment (e.g. daily checks, periodic cleaning) Cryopreserve cell samples and use controlled rate freezer (CRF) Manage and maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and materials, including samples Cell line maintenance (culturing and passaging primary cells, immortalized cells) Perform routine cell counts and viability checks using cell counter Record data in applicable format (runsheet, Tulip, etc,) Adhere to GMP and GDP requirements, aiding in quality records as required. Assist in process improvement experiments across manufacturing and PD environments. Requirements Able to gown in and out of a cleanroom Knowledge of aseptic technique Experience making sterile cell culture media Experience working in a GLP laboratory environment Experience with Microsoft Office tools or Google Suite tools like word, excel, and powerpoint Able to follow instructions to perform basic laboratory duties (e.g. stock/inventory management, instrument setup and maintenance) Familiarity of GMP documentation Availability to support late shift or weekend work Able to carry 40 lbs Estimated Min Rate: $35.00 Estimated Max Rate: $45.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
