ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides management oversight of government business base
• Successfully oversees a multi-million dollar IT operations unit to include: planning, organizing, and directing
• Identifies and supports organic and new business growth for the organization
• Works with Business Development to pursue and capture new business
• Assists in strategic planning for Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts
• Assists in pipeline development and management for IDIQ task orders (TOs)/Work Program Requests (WPRs)
• Participates in customer meetings and interaction in advance of the release of TOs/WPRs
• Provides leadership and management over TO/WPR responses including: Technical and Management solution development, Proposal development and response, Pricing, etc.
• Develops a client-specific strategic marketing plan
• Supports proposal development
• Ensures superior client satisfaction in the execution of Operations
• Implements potentially profitable short- and long-term programs and processes to optimize work flow
• Works with company's small business advocate to track and manage SB/SDB particpation that meets or exceeds goals
• Supports the idenitification of new teaming partners to meet new or different requirements, or who bring value to the company and out customer
• May review and approve plans to control budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, new areas of technology and customer service efficiency
• Reviews performance against operating plans, analyszes market conditions and approves changes in plan directions
• Collaborates with other departments and segments of management to establish and execute responsibilties
• Develops, manages and trains managers and supervisors
• Reports directly to the Senior Vice President and/or General Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
• At least fifteen (15) years business experience
• At least ten (10) years progressive program management experience in a government IT consulting environment
• At least two (2) years successful P&L responsibility for an IT division/group

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 15 - 20 Years
