Direct care includes completion of prior authorizations, connecting patients with financial assistance, and managing refill logistics while working closely with pharmacists. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Perform duties of a pharmacy technician and other duties as required. Provide support and supervision for the day-to-day provision of pharmacy services through the effective management of pharmacy staff. Monitor staff workload and productivity to meet the department's workload and productivity standards. Monitor and report on assigned pharmacy area goals and programs. Engage in optimizing pharmacy operations by focusing on measurable results. Assist management in interviewing, selecting, and training pharmacy staff. Serve as a liaison between department customers and pharmacy services. Responsible for the resolution of customer service complaints and overall satisfaction. Develop, coordinate, and maintain daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of unit coverage and continuity of care. Monitor time and attendance in alignment with MU Health Care policies and practices, ensuring accuracy of records and timely submittal/approval for payroll purposes. May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
