New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a resource for a 3-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation: $36.00 per hour The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Responsibilities: Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Maintaining HVAC systems, cleaning coils, vent cleanings. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 8 years HVAC maintenance experience required Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: HVAC license.
