Job Summary: As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for reaching out to business leads, offering quotes, and gathering necessary information to initiate the quoting process. This role involves a high volume of phone calls and emails, especially during the initial stages of building your book of business. Once established, you will receive support from our Business Development Representative (BDR) team for outreach and cold calling. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct outbound calls and send emails to potential clients to offer quotes and gather information. * Make over 100 calls a day. * Build and maintain a book of business through consistent outreach and relationship management. * Collaborate with experienced agents for mentorship and coaching. * Participate in a two-step interview process, with final interviews conducted in-person. Qualifications: * Preferred: Any sales experience. * Personable and well-spoken, with strong communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must have a California property and casualty (PC) license. Skills: * Property and casualty insurance expertise. * Sales experience. Experience Level: * Intermediate Level. Contract-to-Hire: * This position starts as a contract role with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on performance and fit. Commission Structure: * Applicable after the contract-to-hire period. * 40% commission on new business. * 30% commission on renewals. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
