Location: Onsite - 19500 W Interstate 10, San Antonio, TX 78257

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provides leadership, guidance, support and direction for the office staff
  • Functions as first contact for customer service issues
  • May assist to coordinate work of other team members
  • Resolves complex issues independently, rarely escalating to supervisor/manager
  • Serves as PSR mentor and trainer and provides expertise as SME to PSR staff
  • May need to be willing to travel within their own market for coverage, training, support needs, etc.
  • May perform regular PSR duties including, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining timely and accurate documentation of all patient interactions,
  • routing field team members, redirecting calls as appropriate and assist callers with questions
  • or concerns within the PSR scope
  • May perform Sr PSR duties including, but not limited to: preparing reports, oversight of TruCare data accuracy, preparing patient packets, coordinating DataRAP and Quality completion, oversight of field team scheduling and timely visit follow-up
  • In addition to regular PSR duties, at least 50% of time is dedicated to clinic metrics/projects/initiatives as deemed by clinic leadership. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Onboards new PSRs
    • Trains PSRs
    • Safety Champion
    • Clinic Policy/SOP champion, develop awareness/knowledge of SDO process to assist Program Administrator in administrative preparations
    • Actively involved in assisting the roll-out of any new trainings


  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience working in a medical environment
  • 6+ months of experience in mentoring and training others
  • 6+ months of experience demonstrating leadership ability
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC or cloud-based applications to include Excel, Word Outlook, EMR
  • Intermediate level of experience navigating Internet tools such as Google Map and Map Quest
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with communications and providing customer service
  • Beginner level of knowledge with TruCare and other departmental specific programs/applications
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks, demands simultaneously



The salary range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
