Project Coordinator

Abacus Technology is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide support for wireless requirements and projects in the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) at Randolph AFB. This is a full-time position.

Provide recommendations on the best solution to meet customer requirements based on established mission/use cases for the AWAKEN, the AETC Training Dorm solution, GuestNet, and future accredited AETC FD Commercial Wireless Internet solutions.
• Assist the customer in coordinating government wireless solution requirements with the appropriate end user.
• Assist AETC A6 customers in requirement development and process documented requirements to meet the applicable government contracting agency's standard and format for ordering Commercial Wireless Internet requirements.
• Produce a project plan for each approved Commercial Wireless Internet project and program to include but not limited to scope, schedule, funding, and risk.
• Provide status on active requirements documentation.
• Provide detailed project/requirement plan; manage project/requirement deliverables in line with the overall project plan; record and manage project issues and escalate when necessary.
• Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.
• Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues when necessary.
• Monitor project progress and performance.
• Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities.
• Work closely with users to ensure the project/requirement meets business needs.
• Define and manage the User Acceptance of AWAKEN services.
• Conduct or coordinate acceptance testing of deployed Commercial Wireless Internet service/solution and make recommendation to the government for acceptance or rejection of the installed solution.

4+ years experience in project coordination. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Must be CAPM certified. Must have knowledge of FAR and DoD regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, and engineering specifications. Experience leading teams on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects. Experience analyzing new and complex project related problems and creating innovative solutions. Experience preparing long and short-range plans for network and system implementation. Experience overseeing all aspects of projects. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
