Positions Reporting to this Role: Custodial Supervisors and Leads, Lodge Attendants, Custodians, Waste Organizers
Location: Crystal Mt, Washington
Wage Range: $30.00 - 32.00 / hour DOE
JOB SUMMARY-
The Custodial Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness of our venues and restrooms during operating hours. The Custodial Supervisor oversees the Cleanliness Crew's daily operations as well as the garbage, recycle, and the composting processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES-
- Conduct daily huddles with day and swing shift teams
- Works closely with Sr. Manager
- Ensure proper procedures are being followed by the team(s)
- Oversee scheduling for lodge attendants, custodians, and waste organizers
- Help in the creation of the department budget
- Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guests
- Cover shifts as necessary
- Maintain stock and order supplies
- Promote and elevate new, higher standards
- Be available by phone
- Attend to any emergencies
- Straighten tables and chairs
- Report departmental struggles & or needs
- Hire, coach, train, and discipline staff as needed
- Shovels snow as needed.
- Support facilities personnel such as building maintenance technicians, Grounds and Facilities Attendants as needed
- Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- 1-2 years leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, proficiency in using various cleaning equipment
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to supervise a team of custodial staff
- Basic understanding of building maintenance and repair practices to effectively manage cleaning operations within a facility
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-
- This position is required to weekdays, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a mop, vacuum, move carts.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
