JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Join Nittany Ai Alliance and the College of Information Sciences and Technology as an AI Experiential Learning Supervisor and play a pivotal role in driving AI-driven innovations through experiential student engagement, as well as in nurturing the development of AI-driven innovations through experiential student engagement!

The AI Experiential Learning Supervisor orchestrates the Nittany Ai Challenge, a dynamic, project-based learning environment where cross-disciplinary teams harness artificial intelligence (AI) to create prototypes with the power to address pressing societal challenges.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the Nittany AI Challenge by organizing and managing the annual competition, ensuring teams adhere to guidelines, and providing guidance and support throughout the prototype development process to strengthen and expand the Nittany AI community.

  • Facilitate regular meetings and debriefs with Challenge teams to provide guidance, resources, and feedback on prototype development while collaborating with the Nittany AI Student Society to foster community growth and AI education across disciplines.

  • Plan and maintain a comprehensive annual workshop calendar with a balanced mix of topics tailored to audience needs. Keep records of past and upcoming sessions, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and easily accessible.

  • Manage and coordinate all event contracts and budget allocation.

  • Manage, develop, and disseminate internal and external communications about activities.

  • Assess educational programs to evaluate student learning, changes in behavior, and identify gaps in educational needs.

Education and Experience: This position requires a minimum of bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid schedule. A typical schedule is 3 days on campus and 2 days remote per week. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$56,200.00 - $81,500.00
