About the role:

The Process Development Project Specialist I role manages projects within global process development team. They partner with all divisional and plant supporting PD leadership teams to improve the efficiency, agility and speed of our business processes and systems.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Participating in the planning, execution, and finalization of regional and global PD activities according to strict deadlines, within budget, and by following organized and repeatable procedures. Ensuring global alignment with all PD groups.
  • Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver on project activities according to plan.
  • Acting as a liaison with stakeholders and effectively communicating expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Identifying and managing dependencies and critical path items while ensuring quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies.
  • Conducting postmortems and communicating lessons learned in order to identify successful and unsuccessful deliverables.
  • Conducting recurring site stakeholder meetings to ensure site, regional, and global alignment
  • Monitoring and trending program metrics and developing plans to address opportunities or watchouts

Required qualifications:



  • Associate's degree plus 1+years of relevant work experience


Preferred qualifications:



  • 1+ years of project coordination/project management experience.
  • Certification in project management
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing capital equipment budgets, developing financial tools/systems & working with ERP systems

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
