Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision work? Our trusted client is seeking a skilled Crimping Technician to join their team! This hands-on role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring high-quality, production tasks. Schedule: 12:00am - 8:30am Pay: $24.15/hr. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment with minimal supervision. Monitor and maintain raw material feeds, clear faults, and troubleshoot stoppages on automated machinery. Use Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to adjust processes and correct deviations in production. Ensure proper material preparation and timely job execution for on-time delivery, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. Utilize computer systems for material inventory management and quality control processes. Follow safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures, including packaging and shipment preparation. Work independently or in small teams to resolve production issues, maintain a clean work environment, and support process improvements. Requirements: H.S. or Associate degree 2-4 years of experience. Preferred Skills and Competencies: Proficiency with manufacturing instruments such as micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and optical gauging tools. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in automated machines, discrete assembly, robotics, and troubleshooting production processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment with a self-motivated and team-oriented mindset. Solid understanding of production processes, quality control techniques, and raw material handling. Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, for accurate measurements and calculations. Strong problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and process optimization in a manufacturing setting.
