We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Transformation Analyst for our Onshore Resources & Carbon Management, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) asset. This position will be located in Houston, TX. The Transformation Analyst will work in Asset Transformation group and will support both surface and sub-surface EOR Asset Transformation projects by developing dashboards and analytics. Roles & Responsibilities:
Leverage data from multiple, disparate, internal databases and generate insights that drive improvements to Operational quality and efficiency Build Proof of Concept algorithms and tools that illustrate new, proposed transformational processes and approaches
Build dashboards and similar tools that allow users to easily understand and visual their data in meaningful ways
Interface with customers to fully understand needs and expectations
Analyst will be expected to act as a driver. They are expected to ask probing questions, deeply understand the needs of the user, provide critical questions, and develop a robust knowledge of Operations / Surveillance Processes
Work with and integrate with various groups across the larger organization during development, including but not limited to SAP, IT, DMA, Prod/Ops, BST, and Nexus Draft reasonable documentation during development Provide customer service to users (RE, PE, Well Analyst, Surface Operations, etc.) during adoption Provide support if tool is handed off to different, appropriate ownership group Provide data support for other Transformation Team Projects

Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM field Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the petroleum industry or 5+ years in production and automation operations, EOR operations preferred. Basic understanding of oil and gas operations. Working knowledge of database management applications such as SQL Server Management Studio Strong grasp of the SQL language from the aspect of Data Definition and Data Modification commands. Clear understanding of database terminologies such as schemas, tables, views, procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, primary keys, foreign keys, unions, and joins. Proficient at writing complex queries utilizing various types of joins, functions, and common table expressions Proficient at extracting, manipulating, correcting, and analyzing data (Access, Excel and Spotfire) Familiarity with SharePoint sites and SharePoint lists. Experience developing reports and visualizations in business intelligence tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, SSRS Familiar with using MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Flows, and Apps) to automate processes and capture user data. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, and JavaScript Strong verbal and written communication skills.
